Bodo Hartwig

Sound

does not only emerge in the studio.
Much begins outside – with time, attention, and a willingness to be changed by a place.

Recording, composing, evoking – my work connects technical mastery with artistic freedom. I produce for broadcasters and cultural institutions, create sound installations and formats where information and atmosphere resonate.

What interests me is not only the perfect sound – but its meaning. What does memory sound like? What is the sound of a border? What does a space tell us when we give it time?

My degree in audio engineering laid the foundation. Experience in broadcasting, music production and artistic practice has expanded it. What remains is the conviction that deep listening is always a matter of attitude.
